Freedom 251 Cheapest Android Smartphone In World

Domestic handset maker Ringing Bells is all set to launch the world's cheapest 3G smartphone 'Freedom 251' at just Rs 251(less than $4) in India. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikkar will launch the smartphone 'Freedom 251'.
The Ringing Bells 'Freedom 251' launch is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for "empowering India to the last person, transforming India's growth story", the Noida-based company said.
At present, Smartphone’s available in the market are priced around Rs 1,500. Last year, DataWind had announced that it is teaming up with Reliance Communications (RCOM) to launch the world's most affordable Smartphone, priced at Rs 999. The phone is yet to hit the market.
The phone comes with a 4.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 pixels by 960 pixels. The Ringing Bells Freedom 251 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The Ringing Bells Freedom 251 runs Android 5.1 and is powered by a 1450mAh removable battery.
Booking for this smartphone starts tomorrow at 6:00AM, and the window will be open till February 21, 8:00PM.
