Arvind Kejriwal's Secretary Rajendra Kumar Arrested In 50 Crore Scam

Delhi government's Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar and Deputy Secretary of Chief Minister's Secretariat Tarun Sharma were arrested in a Rs 50-crore corruption case, triggering another political flashpoint between the government and the Centre.
A furious Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia called it an attempt to destabilise the Delhi government.
The CBI, said Rajendra Kumar is the key player of the scam. Three others were arrested in the case -- Sandeep Kumar and Dinesh Kumar, directors of Endeavour Systems Private Limited, the firm at the heart of the controversy, and Rajendra Kumar's friend Ashok Kumar.
CBI has alleged that Kumar and his other accomplice had used their power and positions to favour the said firm Endeavour Systems Pvt Ltd in acquiring tenders allotted by various departments of Delhi government.
Last year, CBI officials had raided Kumar’s office at the Delhi Secretariat while investigating corruption charges against him, which led to an furious barrage of tweets from Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
